I am compiling a folder of "comps" to have on hand for valuation and appraisal purposes.

What I am looking for are any links to completed ebay sales or private sale information (either from buyers or sellers if you've been on either side and care to share specifics) detailing selling prices of nice tii's. Round or square, restored or original what I am looking for are cars that have sold for $25,000+---the top notch cars that everyone wrings hands and gnashes teeth over the price of, but secretly lusts after.

Thanks in advance.

$25,000 seems to be really steep for a Tii, unless it was like a time capsule and had virtually no miles on it. I saw such a car auctioned in Monterey in '06. Polaris, beautiful condition, and I believe it fetched around 19k. So, might I suggest, that a really nice Tii is worth between 15-20K at present. Anything more and it would have to be something like a Turbo, IMHO.

The Porsche Club of America has a valuation comittee. They provide valuation information for insurance claims etc. They are pretty good at determining a fair value rather than the extremes. Perhaps the BMWCCA has a similar program. This largely pertains to cars older than the Blue Book covers.

I first owned a 2002 in 1975.
