Headliner Bows

Maybe a dumb question, but here goes.

Car is 1974 2002 w/sunroof.

I have a new headliner (old one is long long gone). I just bought the headliner bow grommets (10 of them) for the headliner bows. I assume they go in the round holes that they fit in the roof - got that.

The new headliner has TWO (2) sewn in loops, that I assume the headliner bows go through.

Question is where do all the other bows go? How many bows do you need with a sunroof car and what do they support, if there is no "loop" in the headliner for them???

The sunroof car only uses the two rear bows. The front of the headliner is supported by where it clamps into the sunroof tracks.

If you want, I'll take the extras off your hands. I will be doing my headliner in the near future.
