Weber 34/34 DGEC carb?!

I'll be in the market for a carb soon, and have seen this new Weber online. Some online stores say it has most of the power of a 38/38 but with the fuel economy of a 32/36. Sounds nice. Wonder if anyone here on the FAQ has had experience with this carb. From what I see its only available for trucks and MGs right now. Thanks!

Weber 34 DGAS/DGES was standard equipment on late 70's ford granada 2.6-2.8 V6 in europe, you can still find some in good used condition. Another option would be the Solex 35 or 38 EEIT (they bolt on directly to the stock 02 manifold) which is the same as the DGAS both barrels open simultaneously. You can also use Weber 36, 40 and 42 DCNF/DCN, or 38 DGAS or 40 DFAV or 45 DFC which would be a better alternative as the chokes are interchangeable meaning you can change the choke sizes and not fixed liked the DGAS/DGES/DFAV/DFI/DFO series.

The guy you talked to is not knowledgeable with all Weber carbs.
