driving out of town, 40 miles South to hook up with our caravan and driving back up to Santa Barbara.

Last year, he was our connection to Santa Barbara. Our caravan met up with him and he led us to the Fest where we had a spot reserved for the 2002s. Steve is a true 02er in my book.

That wouldn't be Papa "hen". The male of the chicken family is typically called by another name.

Perhaps "Father Goose"? But that's been done as well.
