Dont buy used, too much of a crap shoot unless you can inspect/measure.

If I was needing a set of flat tops I would pounce on these. 

NOS Mahle flat tops in 1st oversize with rings, no pins or clips but thats ok, they are pretty hard, your old ones should work.

I know it says 520i but it it fits your 2L M10 block, cause they be the same engine in both cars. I've made a couple of buys from the seller with satisfactory results.

I also have a set of std bathtubs, not high compression that were used about 500 miles.  Needs a 121 head to use.  I pulled the flat tops to try these, then I got crazy and built up a second engine and neither set were needed.

 

Flat tops are Mahle, bath tubs are Klobenschmidt.
