The original BMW Kugelfischer setup tools—at least the kit with which I was familiar—consisted of four tools: (1) a rod of specific diameter bent at 90 degrees intended hold the KF pump in wide open position for linkage adjustment, (2) a pin of specific diameter called for in the adjustment of the throttle-body cam, (3) a jig for setting the length and rotation of the shorter linkage rod, and (4) a really nice shim to secure the warm-up regulator piston at a fixed, standard position.

 

The BMW kit has apparently gone the way of the Dodo, but the British supplier Jaymic has reproduced the first two tools, which are offered here. According to a comment in a forum here, the diameter of the Jaymic pump retainer rod more precisely matches the pump socket than that of BMW tool. Domestic postage included in price. Two sets available.
