Help - Seat Tilt Knob

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

This is my first post so I would like to share that I'm the owner of a '75 1502. The car belonged to my grandfather that passed away at '00. the car has been sitting in the garage for the past 22 years, with just small rides to the yearly inspection and so on. Nevertheless, the car wasn't driven during the last 5 years. I received the car as a gift a couple of months ago and I've been doing all the basic maintenance as fluids, filters, cooling, bearings, brakes, rotors, clippers, etc with the help of this awesome forum. I'm now moving into the interior and giving some attention to the seats and I want to replace the small ''plate cover'' (green arrow). but in order to do that I must remove the knob (red arrow). The thing is that I don't have any clue on how to remove it?! It doesn't seem to be a screw or to be threaded.

Any ideas on how can I remove it?

Many thanks!
