Ac condenser and spal fan that can be fit through grills

Road trip

I would like to install both condenser and spal fan through front grills

my current set up I used the largest of both and that required removal of radiator.

the spal fan is not working now and I have to remove radiator and condenser to remove fan.

if you have model numbers and sources that would help more.

thanks

I am currently working on replacing my engine driven fan with an electric fan and don't see how fitting everything through the grille would work with a big enough fan to cool everything.

That said, I was planning on going with a Spal fan since everyone says it is the best quality, but 14 months is not a lot.

I am wondering about your original setup and had a couple of questions if you have time.

My questions include:

  1. Do you have an AC condenser
  2. Do you have an original radiator
  3. Which model number Spal fan did you use originally
  4. What was the diameter of the fan
  5. What was the max CFM
  6. Did you use a PWM controller to modulate the fan speed
  7. Did you ever have any temperature or AC cooling problems in hot weather (i.e., high 90s)
  8. Is it very loud parked at idle or low speed driving

I have a Wallothnesch high cooling radiator and a 12" x 14" x 3/4" parallel flow condenser.

Any help that you can provide is appreciated.

Michael

I’ll try and answer some of your questions

1. yes I do have a AC condenser

( the only reason for the spal fan)

2. I have a dual row aluminum reproduction of

the oem that I had anodized black to match

oem

3.7064075

4. 12

5. Google it

6. No

7. No, because I don’t use a electric fan to do

what the mechanical fan does better

( it never stops turning)

Cannot be done. There is no AC fan in the world that will fit through the grills. Pull the radiator and do it from the back. pulling the radiator is 15 minute job.

The Spal fan died after 14 months

In my case, it died after one year and a half of use. I am currently looking for reasonable offers myself. And then the old ones are already boring. Only they break down constantly. Theoretically, repairing the air conditioner from minor breakdowns is not a big problem, but once every 2-3 months. And here I have it every month. I found, of course, an article where all this is described https://www.marvellous.sg/aircon-light-is-blinking/. But honestly, I want to forget about it all already. I hope to see cool brands of air conditioners from these guys. I hope they will help me here too.
