Removed dizzy found a spring and a small plastic cylinder, and now its cranking not starting!!

That's the brush for inside the cap.   Remove the cap ,turn it over and look inside,you'll see a hole.  The spring attaches to the brush and then put it back in the hole,spring first.

That belongs in the center of the underside of your cap! 

 

It is the graphite button that makes contact with the top of the rotor. 

 

Put it back!

The spring fits on the littler end and that points up.

You can pinch the spring a tiny bit so it grips the graphite.

typically they sort of stick together.

 

good find.

easy fix.
