I am really interested in this air filter, but.... This bolts directly to the face of the Weber carbs, correct? Is there any data on how this setup compares to velocity stacks? I have heard that you tune the length of your velocity stacks like you tune your primary jets, emulsion tubes, etc. If it's only a % or two HP change then no big deal, but I'm really curious.

Mark,  I couldn't really answer that re whether or not there's a %HP change.  Open carbs with no stacks can be an issue, but things are a bit different when inside an airbox.   Bill
