Steering box plug

When I changed oil in steering box kn my 72tii I noticed the plug on top was nothing like picture in manual. It fit loosely so I attempted to seal it but now have a small leak. Is that plug available?  If not what have folks used to replace?

The original version isn't available but there is a replacement:  32111102781

 

Vendors vary on whether they have it in stock or not.  I would first try Blunt but W&N have them in stock.

Interesting thing (well, it is to me) is that the LHD and RHD steering boxes had different colour oil fill plugs.

That is very curious.  Most of the LHD version seem to have the reddish version.
