Wire identification.

Hey,

 

Quick question I need help with. Just put a motor (M10) in this RHD 02 (When I got it it had none, had been removed.

I think I've got all the wires sorted except for this single one coming out through the firewall. Its blue.

I am talking about that blue wire with the spade connector on it.

 

Any help would be highly appreciated.

That looks like an alarm as that is where I fitted my alarm sounder. That wire is definitely aftermarket and probably associated with the alarm. BMW didn’t run any wires through that air plenum from the firewall. I reused a hole drilled by a P.O. otherwise I would have not put my sounder there.
