How old are the tires?      Depending on 5 speed condition i would like to purchase that too.  I'll be going to Sacramento area this Wed or Thursday.

I really don't know how old the tires are. When I acuired my car they were on it and the guy said there were probably about 100 miles on them. I have had them for about a year. I'm guessing a few years old. They were garaged by him and me.

Oddly, for racing, a DCOE does something kind of ugly in a left- hand corner on a 2002- the fuel sloshes to one side,

climbs the float bowl wall, and gets sucked into the air corrector.  So that super tall hat is to prevent that.

I suspect it works,  those guys know what they're doing (JB Racing)  The rest of us just epoxy over part of the

top of the carb, and that keeps fuel from making it over the top.
 

The extended wells on the bottom, I don't get.  They must have thought they had a pickup problem.  Maybe this was

for an off- road 4x4 or something where they got it to some pretty extreme angles?  No- one I know has ever had trouble

with keeping fuel in the well...
