Hi FAQ

I'm looking at getting Gaz coilovers for the 02 now. Is anyone on here running them? These seem very reasonably priced, but does anyone know just how low they can go? It says 65mm which doesn't sound a whole lot to me.

Also, I've heard the rear will need strengthening. Does anyone know what needs to be done in terms of what and where to do the strengthening?

Hi,

Also interested about that suspension. I don't want to go seriously low but want to get my car lower front. Rear strengthening must be done with rear strut bar. Either bolt on type like Wiecher's or even Elefant supply with hose clamps like or welding between strut towers.

 

But on e21 someone written that can go as low as ground clearance a few mm.

 

Interested to know first hand experience tho. So please...anyone? :)
