other Spring is Here!

Spring is here in Chicago 50's and 60's for the next two weeks. Since my car has been in hibernation since November, I took the opportunity last night to get a ride to Michigan where I have garage storage and pick the car up. I attached the battery, no tender no charging, turned the key and let the fuel pump run for 10-15 seconds, turned the key, and off she went. 

 

Since it started so easily and sounded fine, with the cold start even working, I jumped in and drove the 130 miles home with no issues. It is my 1974 2002, and I am really glad to be getting out of the SUV and back into my fun little car. The weather has been so mild here, it looks like we will have a very early spring.

Awesome! I was so happy hearing that thunder storm last night, wash all the salt and snow away. Im in South WI, cant wait to drive my 02

Located in Wicker Park here, Sunday morning I was working on my car at my parents and realized that we're officially on the cusp of Spring and my car isn't even painted..... Guess I need to shoot for the Fall lol.

Thinking about fixing some spots and a lick of paint myself. But is will be a quick spray not a complete body off thing. What you are doing looks impressive.
