Bimmer Pilots…

After having BMW 2002s since the early 90’s I have decided to go a different route. I purchased this car approximately six years ago. I probably have driven no more then 7,000 miles or so since I’ve owned it. I have two other cars so this was my third car. It has spent much time in the garage relaxing.

Features:

Strong motor –numbers match. I’m sure the head had a valve job at some point. No smoke on de-acceleration.

Recaros (great shape)

New carpet

Bilsteins

SS brake lines

Poly bushings

15" Wheels & new tires

65A alternator

Weber 32/36

I replaced the original pod with one from a later model.

I purchased parts ie. tires, shocks, etc. but I did not keep records on the fluid changes since I did most of them myself.

I did not have to change the cylinder head, block or transmission. The car pulls hard so I’m sure that the compression is even estimating 140 to 145 psi The steering box is a little sloppy but I think it can be adjusted with out a rebuild.

Plus I won the triple core radiator and header from the '02 meet two years ago. Great addition to the car and I had a new whole exhaust pipe and muffler installed.

The clear coat on the hood and top and some issues and a little rust. The rust is behind the right front fender, some in the front nose and some by the pillar. Not terminal, it seems like it was treated by the previous owner so it has not really spread since I’ve owned it. This car is from Sacramento CA.

I'm looking for $5,500 OBO and will consider reasonable offers. Not looking for any trades and please no low ball offers. These cars are getting harder to find....especially the Round tail-lights that are decent. These days $3,000 wont buy you much.

I have more pictures if requested.
