Alfa Romeo Milano Verde Recaro Seats in a 2002?

A friend in the Alfa world is asking me if I know whether the front Recaro seats from an '88 Alfa Romeo Milano Verde Recaro will fot a 2002 or other BMW. Anyone know?

I sold a pair from a Verde to a guy from Michigan who was going to put them in his 02. Seemed like they should fit but I never tried them in my car.

Yes they do, those were the basis for the ones I recovered in my car. They are really just LS-C versions so normal Recaro sliders etc. fit. They are a bit wider than the E21 recaros (which were LXs , I think) and more comfortable since they use the Pirelli web membrane instead of the straps.
