intake manifold gaskets and check valve. (nt)

on this walloth and nesch site, i am strugglibg to find the correct intake manifold gaskets.

i just purchased a 32/36 dgv and this intake manifold. as you can see the manifold has two 32mm venturis.

so i have a few qs.

1. are all intake manifold gaskets for an m10 block the same?

2. if not, which ones do i get.

3. what car is this intake manifold off?

4. a fellow forumite said it is wise idea to replace the check valve from the manifold to the brake boosters, with one from an e21. could i have the part no for this?

Yes, those are the correct ones on the W & N illustration. You need one #1 and three #20s. The #1 goes toward the front of the car on #1 cylinder.

To get the full benifit of you carb you need to enlarge the secondary side (driver's side) of the intake manifold opening to match the 36mm barrel on your Weber carb.

Uncle c.d. would recommend you getting the one-piece exhaust gasket with heat shield (for '80-'83 E21 #11621723876). In addition to the carb gasket you should install a phenolic (plastic) base plate to avoid vapor lock. When the carb was matched to the manifold, most of the porting (grinding) is done to the base plate and very little to the aluminum manifold. The manifold usually used for Weber downdraft conversion is from 2002's with the two-barrel Solex ('72 to '76). My brake check valve is still OK after 40 years of service--simply check it by blowing in opposite sides. One side should be unimpeded while the other is blocked. Good luck.

sorry esty i forgot to add i already ran the part number to the manifold at real OEM. I only come to the forum as a last resort!
