I have really enjoyed the forum and meeting with some of the members on here. I took final pics today. Lots of memories of the car, but it is time to move on and let someone else enjoy it. just wanted to say thanks to all those members who helped, it was really appreciated. Santa said there was still a spot on the sleigh, but promised he wouldn't jamb it down the chimney :)

The engine bay I'm very proud of, seeing some fine examples on this site was an inspiration to go all out in making that as spotless as possible. The rear bumper delete is a personal touch, some like it and some hate it. This car has been a great little car, I just don't drive it like I should. I was shocked at myself when I completed the restoration and that I would avoid the outdoors at the slightest chance of rain. I didn't think I would do that, in fact I even stated to friends and family when asked 'you gonna drive it when your done?' 'absolutely!'. It just doesn't happen as often as it should. It should be driven daily.
