  1. I'm glad Scott is O.K. I have met him and his wife a few times and they are very nice people who love BMW's. I believe they used to ice race as-well.
  2. Thank-you. The problem still occurs even if I leave the key in the ignition switch and I tried Lock-Ease at my buddy B.J. Barbieris' suggestion to no avail. For now I'm just not turning the ignition switch all the way off. I tried that at a local euro-car show this past Sunday and it didn't seem to drain the battery . I forgot to do that at a gas station yesterday and it took several minutes to get it to release properly.I don't think the switch itself is worn as it doesn't have any excess play or binding when it does work. Thanks fellas and Mike I met you at the Vintage in 2007 when you were installing a windshield in an 02 painted in chalkboard green
  3. Just recently I sometimes have difficulty with my ignition switch.Specifically, sometimes the key refuses to turn.It seems to be related to the steering wheel interlock because if I rotate the wheel back-and-forth repeatedly it seems to temporarily fix the issue. Any ideas?
  4. I have several of the later boards I'd be happy to get rid of for a six pack of beer but I'm in N.E.Ohio!
  5. Finally getting around (after 10 years) to installing the handbrake on my 71 but I'm missing the ratcheting gear
  6. My best friend "Troll" lives in S. Austin. He always calls to tease me about snow in N.E. OH..Now it's my turn!

  13. appear to be in good "driver quality" shape. Please ask any questions you might have.I can ship UPS or Fed-EX. Payment by paypal preferred(add 3% to total) or personal check after it clears. Thanks
  14. I agree with the observations of those above but I suspect it's also possible that you might have a stuck rear wheel cylinder. My car would pull to the left under braking until I realized that both wheel cylinders were stuck.
  15. I'm looking for a good Schrick 292 cam.It must be the old style genuine Schrick and not what they are selling now
  16. Thank-you everyone! I will issue a refund when I see what he returns. It's just not worth my own reputation or the hassle.
  17. I had 2 prs. of wiper arms for sale on the FAQ that were clearly described and included pictures of both pr.One pr. sold quickly and the buyer was happy. I received an offer on the remaining pr. and shipped them on 5-19.On 5-31 from the purchaser implying that I'd mis-represented the wipers while admitting he may have been at fault for not reading the ad or looking at the pictures thoroughly. I offer him a full refund and a reminder that the items shipped were as-described in my ad.No response until today(6-26) when the buyer sends me an e-mail with a tracking # demanding a refund or he will contact Paypal. He's now claiming that wiper blades won't fit.I was OK with refunding his money on 5-31 but now I'm ticked-off and would like your opinion jlandreth
  18. This is for the pr.of switches. I have not tested either of them but believe both to be functioning properly.Shipping via USPS or Fed-Ex paid by the buyer and I'll cover the PayPal fee if any
