tii leaking fuel pump

Just got done with a ton of body & interior work. Shop went to start car for the first time in 3 months to take for a run and saw fuel on floor. There has been a leak under the car towards back. Now that its on lift, he is able to see the problem. The electric fuel pump is working but leaking around the

electrical boot where it plugs in. He pulled it apart to check

ends of hoses. As of this afternoon, he has replaced hose and both O

rings. He has contacted a few BMW sources which haven't been of help.

Cost for new one through BMW dealership is $348.92. Any ideas on a fix based on pictures? I have not had a chance to talk to mechanic yet......

in addition to Bill's options,you can purchase a rebuilt pump from mesa performance.

I don't want to piss off any vendors here but my factory tii fuel pump lasted 34 years, the Mesa rebuild lasted less than two. I will most lilely go the Bill Williams in-tank route.
