keep the rebuilt 1600 ? I have an 1800 2 barrel intake and several 32/36s.

look for an m42 and 5 speed?

I am thinking 5 speed as at 4000rpm she starts to get warm and warmer in 80 degree weather. A bigger raditor in the works With 411 gears that is not all that fast.I just like the idea of a numbers matching motor in a 40year old car. She is a little weak but she is the Alte Dame.

I would keep the M10 (maybe get a 2.0 one) and add a five speed. A 4.11 rear end ratio literally screams for a five-speed conversion.

You can store your original engine and tranny in case you want to return it to 100% stock again.
