hard starting 74 Tii

Trouble shooting a starting problem with my 74 Tii.

The car can be " Pull Started" and runs fine once it is running.

Has good compression and good spark, therefore it must be fuel / injection related.

Any ideas ?

Couple of things to look at:

1) Check your cold start solenoid located at the throttle body.

Remove air cleaner and look into the throttle body while someone cranks the engine. If no fuel comes out of the upper orifice into the throttle body, then either the fuel line is blocked, the solenoid is bad or the timer relay box on the D.S. firewall need to be inspected.

2) Warm up regulator on KF pump is acting up. When was the last time you had the coolant changed/flushed ?
