My future design project for my 2-2 BMW

Okay i have finally found the exterior blue prints to the 2002 BMW and im going to start modeling my design in 3D Studio MAX soon. Im going to it a custom front fender, side skirts, and rear fender, with a very unique spoiler. But thats not what i want to talk about. . .

I am going to need a new engine when i start to build on my 2002. One thing i don't want to do is use the classic engine it was designed with which is the M10 engine. . .not enough power or torque. So any engine, from any region(us, japan, euro, etc.). I want to have straight 6 engine to build from but i cant seem to find the rite website for my searches. I know the displacement of these engines are well over 2000cc, and i know that i might have to do some engine work and make room for the engine to fit. Any engine would get me one step closer to my future goal. So if you guys could help a naive noob out. . .i would be happy. . .Thanks

Plenty of people have put the straight 6 - M20 motors into their 2002. Check the Project Blogs or do a search for M20 upgrade.

That will give you more horses than you should need. Beaner7102

the only thing i hate about this news article is that it has to looked like the M3 to me. If its suppose to be the rival of the itt series than why not make it similar to a 2002 model not a 328i.

Do you know a website where i can find a M20 engine. Most of the websites i find, i have to call for a quote and it pisses me off. I could not find website where it showed me the name of the engine, displacement, etc. . . I you have any web sites that would be awesome cuz i dont think the pull apart here in atlanta will have a decent engine. Thanks.
