Rod, we're talking about this Saturday, 8/14. Any/all are welcome.. even your e9. Love those things. ( I've been lucky enough to meet ccr's, and that thing is straight-up amazing.)

I think with the Tour of Utah going on, maybe we'll just do Emigration Canyon, and maybe cruise back down into SLC via I-80. We'll miss a few guys to family reunions, but I agree with Sky- We'll just have to do it again soon!

-I'll make an official thread for the cruise, and link it here. Sky, would you mind directing your email list to it as well? Pretty please?

Thanks Rich

Let me know when and where and I will be there. Chuck..I try to do most of the stuff on my cars myself but when I run into trouble I take my cars to Andre Greff at Andre's restoration. He knows coupes in particular fairly well. I have his contact info if you would like it. I too would like to see your coupe. I have heard a lot about it from this forum as well as e9 coupe. Mine continues to be a work in progress but I love it.

Take care

Rod

creede...you on b.com?

Not really. Most the local guys are on Driveaddict.com Registration is closed so email me if you want to join. It's a great group.

Why dont we have more of an organized club? There is enough of us around and we all share a common love/addiction for the 2002.

I agree. If someone had the time/effort I'm sure we could pull together a monthly meet. There is a local Cars and Coffee every saturday. Right now it's mostly Corvettes and Coffee. Maybe we could start meeting there.

Dallas has a monthly Cars and Coffee that usually serves as our local meeting of sorts. Anything's a start. When I moved to Dallas from Portland OR we got a Yahoo group going that now has ~70 members. The active bunch is much smaller, of course, but that's how these groups seem to work.

I just bought a Charmonix '72 2002 and live downtown SLC. I've driven past an orange (Inka?) 2002 parked in a driveway in the Sugarhouse area lately. I literally pulled over and ogled it, I swear I wasn't casing the joint!

Anyone recommend a knowledgeable 2002 mechanic? I have mine at Alex's Autohaus and they seem to be alright.

Hey! Not sure if anyone is still checking this thread, I am a little late to the party. That inka might have been mine (if it was along 27th south), but I have sighted a concourse-looking colorado in the area as well. If the grey e30 is home, feel free to stop by, I'd love to see your car!

Yes, I would love more of an organized meetup, especially since I will be moving out of state in a couple months. (On that note, I have a parts car for sale in the "cars" section). When should we do our next drive? Weather finally has let up. Give me a week to get Ingrid safety inspected and let's make it happen!

Hey Guys

A colleague of mine let me know about a vintage cars and coffee gathering that takes place on the first two Saturdays of each month. There will be a gathering this Saturday 6/4 and again next week. They are held at the Starbucks at Kimball Junction in Park City. It could be cool to get a good showing of some 02s

I know we have talked about getting some more formal "get togethers" up and running, this might be a away to help get that process started. Let me know if anyone is interested and I will get some more details.

Take care

Rod
