MurphinDC 128 Posted February 12, 2023 Looks great..I too have an Agave 2002...just love the color! Did you go with the Wallothnesch slats for your grill? I did and had to make some modifications, slits to make them work and did something similar in terms of securing them while the glue dried. Also, is your air cleaner a single carburetor version? Thanks Murph Link to comment
Markster 433 Posted February 12, 2023 Hey Murph- the slats came w the grills. I did not modify them. Perhaps i trimmed one or two the air cleaner is from a two barrel carburetor 72-76 - it is highly modified. Was pretty rough to start with so I was less concerned if I screwed up. I like it though. 3 Link to comment
sczapiga 196 Posted February 18, 2023 I love the air filter housing! Very clean job. I’m curious, did you make new mounts for the driveshaft support? I’m considering cutting that hump out if the drivers side fog more seat rail clearance on my e30 seats. I would obviously need to remount the support as it sits right in the middle of that hump. Was it hard to get it aligned perfectly or does it not need to be that exact? Link to comment
VisionTouring 6 Posted March 8, 2023 Someone needs to start fab'ing and selling similar modified air cleaners for webers. I'd buy one today. How much to make me one? hah 1 Link to comment
