It is an original Behr console - the car is 99.9% OEM, but it is wrapped in leather.

Thanks for all the compliments - the full restoration was done by Andy's Spiders - he deserves all the praise, if you haven't, check out the website ( http://www.andyspiders.com/1972-BMW-2002-Tii.html ).  He has some more pictures of this car (and other restoration projects) if you ever need work done, I can't recommend him highly enough.
