Hi guys,

I have been putting together this project for some time and thought now would be a good time to share it with you.

To make a long story short, there is an image above and you will find more on this website www.mofaraz.com and catalog which tells more about the process www.mofaraz.com/pages/catalog

The works cover e9 and NK cars too, and there is also a decal set for dashboard buttons.

I will be updating this with more information as I go along, please feel free to post your comments on this thread.

Thanks again to everyone on this forum and enjoy reading.

MF

I wanted to follow up with more information:  These are all pre-order items and would need your interest/support to be made, else they will stay on paper.  I am also working on setting up a discount for multiple items (if you mix and match poster and shirt shipping is more because it would be two separate packages).

Here it goes....

Shirts (we all have to wear something!)
1. Gildan 2000 100% cotton (I have a Yale shirt like this, its a good material but not as fancy as American apparel )
2. I would need at least 25 orders in each design (e9, 2002, NK)
3. Each shirt is essentially made-to-order as I do not plan on printing many extras.
4. I would suggest buying more than one if interested as I am planning on printing only once.

Posters (this is my 'baby' and would appreciate it if became reality)
1. Printed on heavy paper (probably French poster paper)
2. Pantone color match, and will be made in NY---the artist is very good at printing.
3. Would probably need at least 25 orders in each design (e9,2002,NK)
4  Shipped in a poster tube.
5. Original intention was if you have a cool shop/garage, or office/den, then this would look neat on the wall.

Button Graphics (think of these as high quality decals used in scale models)
1. Dry transfer, rub-type
2. Would need at least 30 orders to make, and will fit all round BMW buttons without graphics.
3. Installation instructions included, but will take skill to center the image.

For now, I plan on organizing orders and if I can reach the goals, then its probably 2-3 weeks to have them made, then I can ship.

I will elaborate more on any question, just feel free to ask.

So what do you guys think?  No comments?  I know the t-shirts have been recently posted on the forum...I thought I would offer the designs anyway in shirts, but really would like see the prints find good homes.

I will try and post a pre-order feeler for the decal set soon, then followed by posters/shirts.

More in a few days....

Thanks,

MF

meh..................

Actually, I somewhat agree with you.....but let the designs and concepts grow on you a little.....I know it took me some time to get used to them myself.

Maybe when the 1600, or 2002 was first released it had mixed reviews too.  As with anything out there, it must prove itself given the chance and it did....

I am working on the decal details and should have them up shortly, thanks for looking.

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
