  1. Thank you very much! What section was it in if you don't mind? Best Regards, Scott
  2. Hi, I went into the repair manual found here but could not find the section on the rear quarter windows. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You, Scott
  3. God only knows! Thank you for your post and information. Scott
  4. Can someone tell me the function of these pieces of material. I bought some thin corduroy to manufacture some before installing the sunroof panel itself. How thick should it be? Many Thanks, Scott
  5. Hi, I am readying my sunroof slide panel frame for the headliner shop next week for covering and headliner installation. I have read many conflicting posts here regarding this. I believe when I removed mine two years ago, it had 1/4 inch foam along the bottom rear section, and felt along the bottom sides. Some pictures show some rolled up cloth under the middle section between the frame and headliner material. I plan on using felt tape I found, (not very thick at all, so maybe I will double it). I am interested in your input on the matter before I complete the job. What is the felt's function, cloth between frame and material, etc? Many thanks, Scott
  6. Looking for 2 nice grab handles, complete. Thank you - Scott
  7. Are the screw sizes the same for the b-pillar grab handles and the 'overhead' grab handles? Thank You Very Much, Scott
  8. Can I affix my new interior b-pillar vinyl after the installation of the headliner or does it have to be glued on first? I thought I could do it after the headliner is installed cutting the vinyl at the appropriate upper length as the pinch welt will cover it? But I have never done this before. Many Thanks, Scott
  9. I will be taking my freshly painted car from the body shop to the upholstery shop to have the headliner installed hopefully next week. I want everything to go smoothly so I need to have the proper screws when dropping off the car to reattach these items below. I have the hardware for the dome light. 1) Sun Visors 2) Rear quarter window latches attachment at c-pillar 3) The 'handles' for hanging your dry-cleaning or holding on to in order to enter or exit the rear seating section. I am installing the ones above rather than the the ones which mount to the b-pillars. I could only find part numbers for the visor screws (07119902577) and they are NLA from suppliers. Can someone tell me what type screws/and they are identified so I may order them at McMaster', for the three items. Many Thanks, Scott Winfield
  10. Are the rivets for the rear quarter window and b-pillar 'chrome' trim 1/8" or 3/16"? Thank You, Scott t
  11. My car will soon have the interior put back in. The floorboards have the original factory gook in great shape. I wondered if adding a dynamite or Noico product over the factory 'stuff' will cause a problem when fitting the new Etsy carpets. Would you foresee any problem? Thank You, Scott
  12. My 1974, base model is coming out of the Autobody shop after three months in the coming week or two. As I recall there was a piece of foam between the former factory headliner and the roof. Maybe 1/2 inch, maybe 1 inch thick? It width was the width of the interior roof for the most part. I think it started at the Rea of the sunroof cavity and headed back. Not sure and any input is welcome.I am unsure as to whether I should use a dynamite type product in place of the foam, or dynamite and thinner foam (so as to not stress headliner)? Your thoughts and experience is greatly appreciated. Warm Regards, Scott
  13. Do you use a little cotter pin for hole in the clevis's bottom end?
  14. Wish I could help but this is my first experience removing and soon-to-be reinstallation of the assembly. If the pins are upside down, or if leaving them out changes the orientation of the assembly, why couldn't it cause the problem you speak of? Some guys on this forum would probably know for sure. Good luck. Scott
  15. Thanks for this tip. Easy to miss it matters as the 'down' is mild, no? I would have never guessed. This pic, yes, Dan?
  16. Had car exterior blasted and the media ruined the exterior chrome of the vent window/assembly. Looking for one in good condition to replace mine. Thank You, Scott/Fort Lauderdale
  17. Hi Dan, I went to the body shop and was able to thankfully find in their holes, and retrieve the two sunroof pieces, both in good shape. Thanks again! Scott
  18. Dan, I was wondering and that is exactly what came to mind, lol. I will surely reach out to you if mine are not in the cavity. Thanks again! Scott
  19. Can't thank you enough, Dan. I will get over to the body shop this weekend with a flashlight to examine the cavity. I will let you know if I find them in there. Much appreciated, Dan. Best Regards, Scott
