  2. Any thoughts Mike on way seating the turn signal way ALL the way into the connector stops it from working?
  3. All fixed. I had the wiper relay in upside down after removing it for contact cleaning. took out fuse #5. That was easy. Thanks for your help gentleman.
  4. Futzed with turn signal relay. Now it and flashers are working as long as I don't push it all the way into the connecter. But my wipers are now not working. Futzing didn't help. Thanks!
  5. Hi On my 1974, my blinkers and emergency flasher stopped working together. Blinker light on dash which stays on constantly since purchasing the car is still on. Used to pulse a bit while using blinkers. Nothing now. All seemed to happen 'over night'. Any ideas guys? Many Thanks, Scott

  10. I went with the SEM product. I was impressed with it. SEM 39357 Flexible Urethane Foam - 7 oz. As to the hood being flush to the supports, I suggest the answer to be no. Good Luck, Scott

  14. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. Trying to give myself a crash course on all things timing! I set it at 1400, vacuum disconnected and the steel ball was in fact right there. Feels pretty good. Best Wishes, Scott
  15. With a 1, 2, 3 manually switched distributor, curve #2 selected, can I check the timing at 1400 rpm with the steel ball in the flywheel for a valid measurement/check? Thank you very much for your help. Best wishes. Scott

  18. The car starts and pulls very well. Its just the idle that's got me perplexed.
  19. Mine is manually switched and I left it on curve 4 which was great before the removal, repair and replacement. I set it with the green light and twisted the body very little if at all when finding the steel ball at 1400 rpm with the vacuum advance line removed from the distributor and plugged.
