  7. Mojo the machine shop I took the flywheel and clutch to said it couldn't be done. I may try another shop to get a second opinion. Was your flywheel 225mm as well? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I was thinking the same thing about that ledge Hans. My gizmos are all the way in as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I don't see anything for an E9 but I found one that looks right for the following cars. Front Door Check Stop - 123 720 05 16 - Mercedes 230/240D/280E/300D/300TD, 77-85. Does that look right to you? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Hal, I presume that the O2 sensor connects to the 123 distributor and makes adjustment automatically? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Wonderful thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Thanks Hal, going to look into ordering it right now. How do I combine this with O2 sensor? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. The top pic is the broken original. Second image is the arm from the broken assembly alongside the aftermarket unit which fits but arm is too short. Door stop from 2002 is simply too short. The way it bolts in is virtually the same. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Never mind. Amazon has one for 45$ 360mm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I'm going to replace my distributor and was looking into the electronic one for the tii. I'm Wondering what the group recommends for a replacement. I found one that you can adjust using an app on your phone haha. Pretty cool but pricey. http://www.123ignition.nl/products.php Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Where can I purchase a 5 blade fan for a reasonable price? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. So I have an aftermarket doorstop for a 2002 but the arm is too short for the 2000ti door so I was going to do some cutting and welding to make it happen. I'd rather not! Having said that, does anyone out there have an extra driver side door stop for sale? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I knew you wouldn't like that chris. I'm still debating it. Trying to picture it. I may just powder coat it all a pewter colour. How about just blue hoses then? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Hans, here is a couple pics of the inside. I don't see a marking for float level. Not sure what to look for. Also, I have these base gaskets for heat conduction for a Webber. They are a little to big in diameter. Do you think that will matter or should I try and find the right size? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Hans, that's a nice clean looking engine. I like it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Well I found a shop not to far from me that is going to powder coat al those part blue for me. Pretty close to the BMW blue logo. I'll post pics once it's done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. So I don't think anodizing is a good idea. Because the parts are cast the results will be less than desirable. (According to shop) Looking into powder coating instead but not sure it can withstand the heat. May have to simply prime and paint these parts myself which I don't mind. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Hans, I used glass beads on the aluminum and then tried walnut on the steel parts. Preferred the glass. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I like the sound of ceramic coating. I may anodize all these parts blue then ceramic coat. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
