I'll be the voice from the outer world (because saw the new one for the third time last night.)
Send it. 2002's are commanding retarded prices, yours runs great. My wife is rolling a '14 STI with Ohlins. It's very capable and very silly. I drive my '02 constantly, but it looks like a nail- I think people are more afraid of me encroaching on their space... So you lose all the stress of worrying about your car because if someone smashes into it, you just get a new one.
And what's the worst? You hate it and buy another 2002? You know someone on here would help find you a good deal, you dump a bunch more labor into it, and you're back at a 2002.
For reference, the s14 made 190 something? My car is about 2500 lbs. I'm at 5,000' elevation. It's quick, it's fun, at sea level it would be fast enough to have to pay attention.
If you're not driving the 2002, what's the point? If I didn't drive mine all the time, I'd be looking into a clown shoe. But then again, like the prices of our cars, I'm a bit retarded.

If this is the G-Force you are talking about, they don't have it on the website.
Might need to call them- I've never seen it listed, but a very reasonable guy on s14 has one...

Will your M10 adapter plate also work with an M30 motor?
Looking for other other CR tranny options beside Getrag and ZF.
RX8 6spd ratios are very similar. Was considering new Tremec TKX but can only find a bellhousing for M20 motor.
Thanks, Shawn
Apparently G-Force has an adapter plate for the back of the s14 to bolt on a T5. If my tranny (265) ever lets go, this is what I'm thinking.
S14 bolt pattern same as m10, no? I think so.
And welcome.

Thank you Jim and Dave for coming forward. I'm sure your input, knowledge and expertise were greatly appreciated.
And now to answer the initial question: Name of the shop that did the work. ??.
Mac
It's @Stein-man's car. Ping him. I'm sure he'd be happy to talk about it.
And to the point of location- when Jim and I saw it, it was indeed in Colorado.

Yup. Saw the car in near completed state. It's a beauty.
Oh yeah. I'd say we more than saw it; didn't we get it running? And sorted out that short to the turn signal. Nice car.

Nicely enough the parts package was priced where in reality these didn't cost me anything, but it is helpful to know that they're not going to be particularly useful.

I dunno, Barrett... they look identical to the ones under the Scheel in my ‘72. I bet they could be modified to work, if nothing else.
Ed
Literally take them apart and drill relevant holes then bolt together.
I knew the hive mind would know the answer.

$75 shipped?

I'd be in for the 4 spoke wheel with pad if the deal falls through.

IrDave,
Today, Danny's sister Ruth Quigley Bowen responded to the email I sent to him on Veterans Day. She's got his phone and can be contacted through his email: danny.quigley@yahoo.com. I posted it on that thread coloincaalpineRIP. Not too familiar with this site and hope that's okay. Check it if you can.
Dave
It's totally fine. This site isn't like a lot of sites on the internet.

I've got a set that looks just like that bolted to the bottom of my Recaro LSC right now. I fabricated a mount to adapt it to my car, but as general sliders they work nice. Now that I think about it, that slider might have been from my old Recaro Idealsitz factory option type seat. Regardless, had the right holes for the bottom of the seat for me.
I've got a Scheel sitting down stairs as well. If you get the measurements for the hole spacing on the top part where it bolts to the seat I'm sure the hive mind can figure out what seats they fit.

You have a stock '76?
...
Me? Uh, that's kinda' tongue in cheek- my car is more e30m3 than 2002. My body is '02, as is most of the interior, but anything that has anything to do with moving the car down the road is m3 or aftermarket- engine, trans, driveshaft, diff, rear subframe, front subframe, suspension, brakes, steering rack... And it's currently running an aftermarket ECU, coil on plug, all kinds of silliness. But the joke is, any time someone asks me about why it's so quick, I always tell them it's stock- that's why they were so desireable back in the day.
Danny sold me some box flares for it, maybe some other stuff.

I know some people dislike them, but I've used several aluminum flywheels. One in the '72 tii I had, the other behind my s14 currently. I'm not sure where the hate comes from, but I love mine (had 2 behind s54's, too.) With the tii and with my current car, I can pull away from a stop without touching the gas pedal- don't know how much more flywheel weight ya' need...
The JB Racing one is what I've been using. Has replaceable wear items.
