I have waiting along time for this day, first ten miles on the Ceylon tii around the neighborhood today. Plan to get inspected and texas plates on Monday…down to door cards and a few other items.

You can add a ground wire from clean metal behind the turn light to light fixture that will fix it…

Got it back from the painter, he fixing a few scratches that I caused along the way.
Today i Started final trim out of 72 Ceylon tii …with any luck inspection new week.

Ceylon Tii still at painter, so I’m spending time with a new girlfriend and feel like I’m cheating on my 2002s…

What color is the car? We are going to need pictures to decide… you have to have two so when you take one apart, you know how to put it back together!

Ceylon tii still at the painter getting a few repairs, been working on my e9 coupe… took Sunday off and went for a long ride in my Inka tii… followed eight young guys in Miatas down my favorite Cow Creek drive.

Good advise above, door looks low in rear front alignment is hard to tell from pictures…the Crome trim at top of door/bottom of glass on front and rear windows should be a straight plane. The correct alignment of the hood is also critical to it all looking/being correct.

John confirm the belt is good it could be fixed in place and still have failed…

They are beautiful when shiny, i put a lot of time polishing these…

Dropped Ceylon tii off at painter for touch up before final trim out, moved my next project into the shop…

The Austin 2002 guys ending the year with a drive, low 70s and a perfect day for a Texas Hill Country drive on my favorite Cow Creek loop…

My wife Tory and i survived a tourist lap last year, the old German guy in the paddock told me no matter what stay to the right you have a beautiful car Let’s keep it that way…Dirk De Groen in his Inka Baur made a couple of laps as well.

I always lead with the 2000 cc engine / 2 door car to explain the 2002, no other letters or numbers are needed for me under my seats it said they were for a 114, my other car is very proudly an E9 so E10 seems right to…I don’t really care,  it will alway be a 2002 to me.

I looking for a two part 72/73 Tii dash can be in need of repair…I’m sending to just dashes to be redone…
