Do you have the old seats? Do these strips come off? 30 minutes before it closed I didn’t think it would make $70k…

Leak is where the arrow is pointing in the photo, thanks BMW! Not on side that would be easier to replace the hose.
Read up on removing the entire heating unit but checking here if anyone has advice on how to replace or seal the hose on the side coming from the heater to valve?
If it takes pulling the entire heating valve out any tips will be appreciated.
Jake I do not think it can be fixed without removing the heater box, you can cap off the hoses and roll without a heater until you are ready… not sure how many book hours the job is but it takes a full day to r&r…

The two answers above pretty much answer this question…

Its just not an attractive car / color combo to me, with the stripes / the air dam w/stripes, and those seats not to my taste…sounds great, lets see the power.

Sunday changed out the first oil in Ceylon tii at a 125 miles and took a 65 mile ride that afternoon…today went a little farther from home a 125 loop to turkey bend park on the Colorado river and then back down my favorite cow creek Road ( 14 miles next to creek) but in the opposite direction it seemed like a different road. 310 miles on car to date.

Nice work, how did you do the spot welding along the bottom?
I drill through one one piece/side and weld Thur that hole to tie them together…it’s a tack at a time, I hide the holes on the back/bottom of that little ridge on bottom

I will be attempting this soon myself. I have seen someone on this site just cutting off the bottom section(see image) and weld that on. It seems like the best option for me. I have also seen someone cut a "V" shape below the kidney. This keeps your original kidney that matches your original chrome.
This above picture is my work, i cut out the rust behind and primed before final welding…below i also did one like this to save center…

Love it, great looking car, the bus wheel looks good to!
A couple of questions Barney, Is that an Ireland exhaust? And what do you think of the rear battery holder? I need somewhere to tie my scuba tank off to, it’s going to wreck my side panels if I’m not careful, I don’t fancy floor tie downs as the tanks are just to heavy, I think the holder would be quite study especially tied into the rear shock mount? I assume you can just make sure the mounting holes are well painted and a quick spray of cavity wax up inside the mount from underneath would negate any rust issues
The exhaust system is from Walloth and Nesch I’m very happy with the sound… I also installed the rear brace to secure things from sliding around in the trunk.my dad was a commercial fisherman on the gulf coast, I grew up diving the oil rigs off the Texas coast, as well as the flower garden…

Thanks, already done this and emery clothed the contact areas. Howevr John76 suggested the ground in the fuel sender may be the issue. It was and.sorted the problem😊
You can add a ground wire from clean metal behind the turn light to light fixture that will fix it…
do you know the Bradshaw’s in Lincolnshire? Adult children Ann/Tim…Ann lives in Austin and is a good friend….

Wow, I suggest they stock up on liability insurance.
If this is rebar that has been rolled, formed, heat treated and tempered to some metallurgical semblance of sway bar steel.. maybe.
But then again I have no idea if that’s even possible
This is the correct answer…
