  1. I was looking at that Edgewood ad too. By the time you get it, you're paying ~3k for a car that has a fair amount of rust... Just be patient for something close to you. You'll be glad you waited, once you find one that's in way nicer condition for close to that. If that still doesn't convince you, there's a 1970 in Portland that's $800.
  2. Exciting! I'm also trying not to use wasted spark (EDIS), but am wondering what others are using for a cam sensor. Anyone have experience with this??
  3. Currently trying to decide on the best approach with my current seat mounts... Previous owner tore them up! The Recaros I recently bought came with the universal sliders like these (below). I'd like to use them, since the stock 1600 sliders have a short release handle, which basically runs into the bottom of the seat when i pull up, and these are much nicer... But if I put these on the Recaro adapters from Massive, It looks like I'd have to lengthen the mounts on the car anyway (?) I am not an experienced welder and would hire someone to do the job for me, but I'd appreciate some tips and pics on the best approach! Thanks!
  4. Ohh, right. Is there a specific buckle/tongue combination that you would recommend?
  5. Yeah, I would plan on using the tunnel mounts, but was wondering if I should take the buckle from of the seat sliders to use.
  6. I got a set of VW power Recaros for my car and am going to sell the sliders. I'm wondering if I should take the buckles off of the sliders and keep those, and then buy a strap/clip that would fit. Is this what I should do?
  7. I just bought a set of Recaros (from a VW Mk2 GTI) and they're a little wobbly. If I set them back in the locked position, where the metal latches onto the pegs, I noticed there is some play...I can wiggle it back and forth maybe 2-3mm each way. Does anyone have experience with tightening this area up? Image for reference. It's the area around where the screw is. Thanks
  8. You'll want the throttle body from an e30 325i. I believe the part number is 1716036. Then you'll need an adapter to go from the intake manifold to the throttle body.
  9. I found this thread and apparently the S14 ones will work on the 318i manifold http://www.bmw2002faq.com/topic/65501-m10-fuel-injector-rails/
  10. Thanks for the replies. I should also mention that I'm going to be doing this on a 2.0L from an e21, and am going to use forged rods and maybe bigger pistons. Would I then still be able to use a stock 318i fuel rail? I saw aftermarket fuel rails on eBay for the S14 m10 but wasn't sure if that size matches the intake manifold.
  11. I am collecting parts for an M10 EFI conversion and I bought the intake manifold from an 1985 318i, but it didn't come with the fuel rail. I am wondering if a fuel rail from another car would fit (aftermarket or OEM). Anyone know? Thanks!
  12. PM sent, regarding hood torsion bar.
