engine and drivetrain Troubleshooting fuel problem

I was driving to work this morning, I hit the gas and I got a flood of fuel and then nothing. Car kept running at idle speed. I drifted over, pulled to the side, and shut it off. Now it won't start. I'm getting a good solid crank, and the throttle linkage appears to be intact. Fuel in the tank. It must be still getting fuel being that the car kept running, but I can't seem to get the throttle to provide more fuel (hence not enough to start the engine). Where would you start troubleshooting? -
Hey BayArea02 I'm on the Peninsula and looking to get some rust damage repaired and get my clear coat fixed. Anyone have any recommendations? Willing to drive a couple of hours to work with a trusted shop. Brian
