  1. One last picture. I'm a huge fan of stickers, so I asked Ray if he would throw in a sticker so I could add it to my sticker window and he said sure, so I thought I would put up a pic of it on the window. I took it on my iPhone at night, so sorry if it's not the best quality.
  2. Marsattacks: My lights are flat, not the rounded type, so there were not any wrinkles.
  3. Thanks folks. Now I just need to find some Euro turn signals for a decent price.
  4. Eurotrash those light look awesome. Are they Marchal?
  5. I like them a lot. Thanks Ray. It turns out that my lights aren't actually 7". They are 6" I think. But that worked out better because it gave me a little room and I just trimmed them after they were on.
  6. I ordered yellow fog light film from Ray last week. I just put it on yesterday. Just thought I would share some pics.
  7. scoTTlarock: I was wondering if you ever got the Mini wheels to fit properly. I was thinking about putting those on my tii. Could you email with any specs? mtmorto @ clemson.edu Thanks.
  8. Hey I emailed you about the shift knob. Email me at mtmorto@clemson.edu please.
  9. Interested in the Alpina knob. Do you have any pics? Thanks.
  10. Haha yeah I will keep that in mind. Which brings me to another quick question: Is there anyone on here who has done a rear seat delete using panels that can be easily switched out with the back seat? I don't want her sliding around back there, so I though I might try carpeted panels that are easily removable.
  11. C.d.: I think they are 320i rims. I really want some Panasports though.
  12. I'm not sure what that would be like. I have always heard that it's better to run Sports with more aggressive springs. Yeah when I took my HDs off I could compress them by hand. They were shot. I could also compress the old springs a little with my weight. Austinmf: I think that is the size I'm running. I'll try to take more pics this weekend after I wash her. I'll post them up when I do.
  13. I like the ride a lot better than stock. I definitely feel more of the bumps in the road, but it's not a harsh ride. I took the spring pads out front and back and cut a coil up front. The only problem I have is slight rubbing under full lock at the front. It handles so much better too.
  14. I can't remember if I posted these already, so I'll just post anyways. I put IE stage 2s with Billy Sports and the IE front sway on my '72 over Christmas break. Two before pics IE sway vs. old sway IE sway installed Fronts Rears Shop dog Out with the old In with the new I forgot to take pics of the rear install. Here is a couple of how she sits now. Tucking the slightest amount of tire in the rear. And a random edited shot to top things off Sorry for the low quality iPhone pics. I am going to try to take some good ones with my new camera this weekend.
  15. I found mine by emailing info.grouparchiv@bmwgroup.com with my VIN and asking what the production date was.
  16. "The BMW 2002tii US VIN 2760765 was manufactured on January 21st, 1972 and delivered on January 24th, 1972 to the BMW importer Hoffman Motors Corp. in New York City. The original colour was Colorado, paint code 002." Still runs like a champ. I wish I had some good pictures to post.
  17. Okay thanks. I don't think it's potholes because we have decent roads in SC. I'll double check the order of the washers. I printed off the real OEM picture of the order of them, so I thought I go it right, but I could easily have done that. I'll post again when I get the chance to work on it. Thanks again for the help.
  18. So I just lowered my car with IE stage 2 springs and 1 coil cut up front. Whenever I turn past a certain point, I hear a slight clunk from up front. On sharp turns (like turning 90 degrees into my driveway), I hear the noise twice. I have tried to search but I couldn't really find anything. Does anyone know what my problem could be? TIA.
  19. Interested in the Momo wheel. Could you send some pictures to mtmorto @ Clemson.edu. Thanks.
  20. OK so I finished my install for the most part. I ended up cutting half a coil up front because the new springs raised it a bit. I'll probably end up cutting another half coil and the taking the upper spring pads out of the back because I want it a bit lower. It feels great though. The ride is stiffer, but definitely not unbearable. I'll post pics to my Flickr and Photobucket accounts when I have finished for good and everything has settled. Thanks again for all your help guys.
