Terry Tinney in California did an excellent job on a 121Ti head I send couple years ago. He line bored the head to accomodate a 300 degree BMW cam and customized valves. Strong built, reasonable price, highly recommended

Received my kit last week. Great product from fellow 02'er who uses creativity to solve a problem or 02 to fit your air cleaner under that hood. Thank you Tom

Gorgeous design from the TinkerMaster
Sign me up for one if you decide to sell in the near future. Heck, might even place one on my desk as a conversation piece and to look at. Gorgeous and functional.

Hi Ray,
Maybe this works as well for Blunt instead of sending ice cream with parts

Welcome to the group. Was in Terry’s shop last week and they were working hard on your Targa
Anytime you go South of Austin towards Houston, let us know

I am driving from Houston

Hi Larry,
All looks really nice. What RAL color code did you use for the rear subframe? Seems very close to the WW2 left over (green) paint BMW used for early cars

Thumbs up for IE and their support for our 02 community. Been buying parts since 2006 and always great value.
For many years I participate in MidAmerica02Fest and every time there are great door prizes from IE, as well as Blunttech, Bavarian Autosport, RogersTii, TopEndPerfromance, Adams Motorsport, Aardvarc and LaJolla to name a few. Shout out to all those Mom & Pop companies who support our hobby, so we can keep turning our hymnals to 2002.

Great to have a discussion group for the 1600GT - thank you Steve, really appreciated.
I guess I am the new kid on the "blog" for the GT group. Recently became the new caretaker of the GT that Terry and Debbie Sayther have resurrected and enjoyed for many years. Here is the GT with the fantastic group of people that joined the Texas ObtuberFest recently in Fredericksburg. Thank you terry and Deb for organizing this event and bringing us all together, so we can enjoy driving our vintage BMW's.

Congrats on the sale,
Just curious how you did clean them up. They look nice, almost polished

There sure are many 02'ers in Texas. I assume over a hundred if you take DFW, Austin and Houston in account.
Let me know what tasks are expected from the Admin and will consider - thanks

Go Darrin,
His 02 is aging well. Spend many happy miles trailing that 02 after he installed his 123Ignition.

Hi GazM3,
Agree on the look of these wheels and had the same thought about the weight. Made an inquiry by email to the provider last week. Have not heard back yet, will give them a call during the week to find out. Will report back when we learn the weight of each wheel

Jesse,
Good to know you keep the 02 in Houston and give it a go to restore. Will send you a PM to see how we can help you locally within the Houston 02 community. I am sure someone had a crankshaft or other required M10 parts laying around.
