Good evening,
If you still have the 02 available and it is a Tii, then I would be interested into the welded brackets that hold the Air Box/Cannister in place.
Look forward to hear from you

I am running Michelin X-Radial 175/70/13 on the 5" and have no complaints.
Purchased them at Costco.
Hope this helps

Ok will do.
I will visit two BMW repair centers that have some 02's on their salvage lot and also send an email to Laurens Manders in the Netherlands to see if he can helps out since the Ti was a euro version.
A fellow 02FAQ'er did respond to a previous email and sold the Tii brackets for $25. We have at least a price reference.
Keep you posted

Howdy,
The sills in MacCartney's book refer to the welded plates in between the inner and outer rocker panels. I believe there is even a picture of them on the "Explosion Drawing" in the beginning of the manual.
The Voll Cabrio has a plate with "U" profile welded on it while the Targa Cabrio only has the plate welded.
Hope this helps

Howdy Hank,
I have the same project pending and also send an email to Mr. Martinez without any luck.
Did you made any progress on sourcing these brackets?
Good luck

Hi Brandon,
Appreciate the response and will be in touch around mid April.
With respect to register, you can go to the website www.midamerica02fest.com to become a member and obtain info.
I signed up last week and instantly got emails from members.
There is also a TX2002 group, great website and seems like even greater people.
All the best

Howdy,
Are any 02's leaving from Houston to Eureka Springs?
What route is the Dallas group taking, perhaps we can catch up somewhere in between?
All the best,

Howdy,
Am evaluating to purchase a kit from you for a while...still saving the $$.
Now I am curious what the new product would be and if I should keep on saving $$ or commit to your professional looking LED set up.
Thank you for bringing such a product on the market for us, sometime critical consumers

info on install of stainless brake hoses

Hi,
Just to let you know that I replaced the old rubber ones with stainless steel version and absolutely love them. Had to cut a hard pipe and replace since the bolt did not get loose.
Did not put Teflon on the threads since the stainless coupling seems to seal pretty well.
Go for it and you have to bleed the system even with the plastic on top of the fluid reservoir....I tried this as well without luck.
Oh, yes and I did use different color DOT4 fluid to see when the old fluid was displaced.
Good luck
