  1. Hello FAQ. We're in the process of updating our web site here at Ireland Engineering. As an incentive and to encourage you to use our new shopping cart,* we've discounted the price on our popular Stainless Steel Strut Braces and Front and Rear Urethane Bushing Kits for the 2002. Sales prices are for a limited time only (this week), and for available stock on hand. Direct links to the items here: Strut Brace for 2002 - Normally $175, now $148. http://www.iemotorsport.com/bmw/2002-suspension-steering/02stb02.html Front Urethane Bushing Kit for 2002 - Normally $70, now $59. http://www.iemotorsport.com/bmw/2002-suspension-steering/02frtbush.html Rear Urethane Busing Kit for 2002 - Normally $60, now $49. http://www.iemotorsport.com/bmw/2002-suspension-steering/02rearbush.html *Our new web site will provide shipping methods and costs during the checkout process, so you'll know the total of your charges (with the exception of just a few items which ship by truck). We've also updated the categories for easier shopping. As of today, you can only order parts for the 2002 on the new web site.
  2. We see a number of you have signed up in the last few days - thanks. One more day and the sale email goes out.
  3. Hello FAQ members. We've started a mailing list for those who'd like to be notified of the latest product news from Ireland Engineering; there are several vehicle-specific lists, plus a General News and Sales list for all things IE (hint: that's the list we'll use to announce exclusive sales like the one coming soon...) Those interested can sign-up on our web site's home page at http://www.iemotorsport.com. You can always edit the emails you wish to receive, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Of course, we won't share or sell your email address with anyone. Thanks.
  4. Hi Doug. Per the description, our exhaust system connects to the factory downpipe; so if your Stahl header was made to connect to the factory exhaust system, ours will bolt up. But if you're running a race header (without flange, raised floor, etc) then fabrication will be necessary. -IE
  5. We're having trouble uploading an attachment, getting the following error code: Upload Error: Could not upload Attachment to foofiles/02exhaust_179.jpg. Help, please.
  6. Hello FAQ Announcing the return of our stainless steel exhaust system for the BMW 2002. Yep, they're back in stock. Our 304 stainless steel replacement exhaust system uses 2" tubing to improve flow over the factory system, and runs from the down-pipe back. We've tweaked the design to use a single muffler unit in the center for easier fitment (there's another muffler at the rear, of course). The sound remains a bit louder than stock, but not too loud... and it still sounds like a German car should. We have two different systems set-up to use the factory hanger points - side exit (early cars), or center exit (76, some 75/74). See it here on our web site: http://www.nexternal.com/ireland/Product547 There's a photo of the new system shot from under the car. Thanks for your business.
  7. Hello FAQ. A quick note to let you know our Tii stainless steel front strut tower braces are back in stock. Our strut brace mounts between the strut tops to stiffen the front of your car. Designed specifically for the BMW 2002 Tii, the brace goes up and over the intake plenum. The center piece is stainless steel (stonger than the all-aluminum bars we've seen), and the end plates are machined from billet aluminum. The brace will work with most adjustable camber plates. We believe a strut brace is a good idea if you've added performance options like stiffer springs, bigger sway bars and stickier tires. And they look good, too. See it here on our web site: http://www.nexternal.com/ireland/Product11 Thanks.
  8. A quick note to "bstaps," "Torg3" and any others interested... We've extended this coupon through the end of August. See the original post (above) for the complete details and a link to this kit.
  9. Yeah - we got it, Nick. Thanks. We took orders for five pairs of the H4's yesterday, still a few left on the shelf.
  10. Hey folks. We just got some more of these H4's in stock, discounted with a (new) coupon. Find the details here: http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,50/page,viewtopic/t,345882/highlight,/
  11. Hello FAQ. We received another small shipment of Bosch 7" H4 headlights from our supplier - order two, and with $5 off each you'll get a pair for $70. They're a direct fit in your 2002 - they come with 55/60 watt bulb. To get the discount, go to our web site and click the green "enter coupon" button in the shopping cart area (left side), then type H4COUPON into the pop-up window. Direct link to the lights: http://www.nexternal.com/ireland/Product867 Offer good on web site sales only, limited to stock on hand with a minimum order of 2 pieces.
  12. You've got it right, Shupe - thanks for filling him in. Yes - it IS a set of 4 springs. Stage 2 springs are lower (and firmer). Regarding the 1600, I believe the only question is with the rear bar. If you have a factory sway bar in the 1600 now, then your rear subframe has the tabs necessary to mount our sway bar. If you do not have a rear sway bar, you'd likely have to fabricate a tab to hold the factory 'clamshell' (which encases the sway bar bushing). I'll bet CD has a diagram of this somewhere...
  13. Yeah, sorry ... discounts like this are derived from an efficiency of order processing, shipping and admin (and that we have a few extra sets in stock). We can't offer it on the springs alone. Yes, we have replacement bushing and end links. Figure (roughly) $35 for a pair or rear end links, $30 for front, pairs of bushings $20-25. Those are phone order items only, feel free to give us a call.
  14. Hello FAQ. We've bundled our popular adjustable sway bars and our Stage 1 or Stage 2 springs (your choice) and are offering them at a $120 discount as a package price. It's coupon discount for web site sales only, and is limited to 6 units total . . . if you've been thinking about ordering these, now's the time. And if you need 'em, we have Bilstein HD and SPORT shocks and strut inserts on our web site. Here's a link to the kit: http://www.nexternal.com/ireland/Product878 To redeem the coupon, add the item to your car and then click the green 'Redeem Coupon' button (left side of page). In the pop-up window, enter 02KITCOUPON in the box and then see your $120 discount applied. Of course, feel free to peruse the rest of the web site while there. Thanks for your support.
  15. Here's a link to the offer we're running this week on our street/race header... http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,50/page,viewtopic/t,345159/highlight,/ -IE
  16. This discount coupon has ended . . . thanks to those who purchased this header.
  17. Though not within your budget, we're going to be running a web site special on our street/race step header this week (be on the lookout for it in the Parts for Sale section). -IE
  18. We're glad you took advantage of this offer on the 2002 air dams (Alex, Malcolm, Michael, Anthony). . . two shipped out on Friday, the others will go today / tomorrow. You can check out shopping cart's system for tracking info. Stay tuned for more offers. -IE
  19. There is exactly one pair of these H4 lights left on the shelf - come to the web site (see link above), the coupon should pop-up automatically. Order and you'll get the pair for $66 plus shipping. -IE
  20. This web site coupon has ended - thanks to those who ordered an air dam! Here's a direct link to the Air Dam on our web site: http://www.nexternal.com/ireland/Product128 -IE
  21. Thanks. We see your orders, and it appears the coupon is working. We'll get 'em in the works today. For those of you who ordered last night, safe to presume the coupon worked smoothly (note: looking at the coupon stats, the limit of 5 applied to all customer orders, not just the 3 who ordered H4's - we'll bump up the limit a bit so anyone who's interested can order a pair today) -> next coupon will be for our front air dams... -IE
