    I recently bought a 1976 2002 and I noticed that the rear valance where the license plate goes has a slight indent with the outline the size of a euro plate. Is this normal for US based 2002s? It also had some kind of badge to the left of the plate - i am guessing that this was a dealers emblem but not sure. It was drilled in with 2 small holes on the left. Any ideas? Todd

    I agreed with Justin. I have been chasing wiring issue and i noticed 6 wires that are bare below the fusebox from rubbing on the chassis. I would pay close attention to this area. I am going to slice a piece of rubber tube and let the wires rest on that.

    Problem solved. I started swapping relays and found the relay was good. I found a broken wire under the low bean realya. Fixed the wire and I now have lights. Thx for the help.

    I bought a 1976 2002 this weekend and can't wait to get it tagged. This is my 1st 2002 and i am having some issues with the wiring for lights. No low beams (sorry to everyone on I83 Saturday night) and missing a marker light. The bulbs look good. Does anyone know where i can get a copy of the owners manual so i can understand the fusing and relays. I ordered a Haynes but it will take a few days to get to me. Thanks for any help you can give.     All, I have a Beck Sypder that i have up for sale and plan to use the cash to buy a 2002. So, if anyone is looking to trade with some cash, i would be interested in a 2002 that is upgraded (suspension, brakes, 5 speed...) or even better would be an M2.
