  1. Bored and alone a few nights ago, I sat down and did some sketching. I present to you, my concept of the 2 series:
  2. The paint looks phenomenal. I see you're a former 944 owner... I just purchased an 86 944Turbo/951 a few months ago and they're definitely a blast to drive.
  3. Not my car but looks like a clean little 02 with lots of potential with a little bit of TLC. I'd be all over this car had I not recently purchased my first Porsche. I really miss the 02 scene and can't bear parting from it...Still come on here from time to time to see whats good even though I no longer own a 2002. Just chiming in to throw out an option for those of you who are on the hunt. http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/cto/1906999114.html -GreenBeam
  4. I sure could use one of those pizzas and a beer right about now. Clean car but I have to say, that Pizza looks waaay tastey.
  5. Anyone remember that band Green Day? Well I was sittin in bed watching some TV tonight when I come across a Green Day music video staring BMW's 2002. Warning: The ending is pretty graphic....Sorry if this is a repost. Link to video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_CMJQYxwtg **2002 sighting begins at 1:15**

  7. All of the above is true. However I believe that a 2002 is meant to be customized to the owner's liking. I mean personally, I find it hard to appreciate anything about a bone stock BMW look. Unless you're a die hard 2002 fanatic that prefers a 100% OEM car than you go right ahead and add your own flair to it.
  8. I got this E36 strut bar that I have no use for. Figured one of you E36 enthusiasts can make better use of it than have it sitting in the garage collecting dust. Bought in hopes of purchasing an E36 however the plan fell through. So here I have this E36 strut bar, never been used with light scuffs from storage. Will let it go for $40shipped OBO Email/Paypal: cgvcoolboi@sbcglobal.net Please be sure to include an additional 3.9% for paypal fees. FIRST ONE TO PAY GETS IT. Other pertinent info: Paypal is the same as my email. If you pay for a part please include it in the description. These items are priced to sell, if you can find it lower elsewhere, then buy it there. Not hurting for cash just need to clear out the garage. Lowballers need not apply, any nonsense offer will not be responded to. If you have general questions PM or email me. If you purchase an item and wish to have it insured please let me know as these items are priced without covering them with any type of insurance other than if it is shipped via UPS which offers a $100 insurance package free of charge, however only heavy bulk items will go out through UPS. I am not responsible for items after I have shipped them, buyer assumes all risk if they chose not to insure the item(s). Thank You. http://www.ilovebodykits.com/images/...SB-50-0241.jpg
  9. Anyone own a white roundie with turbo flares in Glendale? I saw it parked twice near Chevy Chase and actually drove past it this past Saturday on the opposite side of the road; Verdugo near Glendale High school and Ralphs. Let me know. Its always nice to have local help to turn to.
  10. Thank you. Thats really comforting to know. Just finished reading a thread leaving me thinking that I was running out of options with this car. But I'll definitely contact you if I run into any issues regarding smog.
  11. Could a catalytic converter be the answer to getting a 76 2002 to pass smog?
  12. Yup! Thats the answer I was looking for. Its definitely agave. Still undecided on weather I like it or not...Pictures seem very deceiving, some showing more of a dark green and others showing a more teal-ish shade under different lighting. I'm all for something closer to teal. I'll have to see this color in person. Well thanks for helping me solve this little mystery guys. I'll definitely keep evergreen in mind if the agave plan falls through.
  13. Anyone know the color of the car on the video (link at the top of my post)?
  14. I'd like to say its turkis but when I google it, some come out to be a lighter more blueish color than that of the pictures. I'm all for the darker teal-ish color like shown on the pictures.
  15. I'm planning on repainting my 02 really soon. Can anyone ID this color? Thanks for the help and Happy Thanks Giving all!
  16. Immaculate 1976 BMW 2002: turkis paint window tint Alpina style flares Sparco race seats wrapped in tan leather all new interior S14 engine 5 speed tranny Custom dual exhausts coming from a center opening of the rear bumper Custom shiny grill Ohilns suspension Power steering Pirelli tires Just a plain, clean, classy car, with a lot of engine, and precise handling not to mention street legal in California. All of this cruising down the freeway with two of my best buds, on a road trip down southern California jamming to classic green day tunes. How great would that be? =]
  17. Let me restate my question. Who makes aftermarket racing style seats that are comfortable, affordable, are able to make way for rear seat passengers and can run harness belt buckles for the BMW 2002? Pretty much just looking for something that looks cool, and straps you in nice and snug. My current seats are getting a bit flimsy from age so I'm looking in to getting a new pair of seats, for the driver and front passenger. Its not a track car, just looking for something decent to place my bottom on while on the road.
  18. Does anyone make racing style seats that recline to allow room for passengers to enter the rear seats?
  19. So I can change the front and rear clips and turn my 76 into a roundie? Was there much fab work involved or was it a pretty straight bolt on deal? Expensive?
  20. Not a clue...I was snooping around "Rivertown Gear Busters BMW 2002 Owners Group's" Facebook and grabbed those photos off there.
  21. So you're saying that the whole front end was swapped out for an earlier model's? Thanks but no thanks. Chromed plastic aint for me.
