    I have a 1990 325is for trade....this is a feeler.Runs perfect and is tight.Car has been gone through in the suspension.Top end of the motor was also done not long ago.Was going to be setup as a SPEC E30 racer,but it's too nice in the end to strip out.     I have a 69 with a bad 2nd gear syncro.I cant afford a 5sp conversion quite yet and was looking for a good 4 speed that I can just drop in.Preferably a later model 4 speed from someone who just had to have the 5 speed conversion even though their 4 speed worked perfect.I am in the bay are.LMK what you may have! poolguru1@hotmail.com

    Fair enough.I have learned to deal with my 2nd gear syncro. Every time something comes up I wish I had a car that had less "patina",but when I get in and drive,all that goes away and a smile on the face ensues.I appreciate the heads up on the possible seller.I have emailed him.Anyone local to the bay area do 5spd conversions/installs?I wish I had the space to do it myself to be honest but so is life.

    There are NONE. Noone wants to pay the licensing to make one.There is an Alfa stepnose,ABC hobbies overseas makes a Corolla Mango,510 Bluebird,there is even a VW Bug and Bus out there.If you find one,lmk!I would be all over that!

    Very nice.what are the other wheels you have on it in the side view/parked picture?What size rim and tire dimensions too?Looks crazy! Finally read what wheels they are.Not available in north america.Oh well cool car!

    I was wondering if any other owners in California were exempted from running a front plate? I was pulled over because I had no front plate recently.But I hear some maybe exempted from running a front plate.Or are the majority of guys running a front plate?Thanks!

    I have been looking into purchasing a 1974 2000 Touring,non Tii version.In very good to excellent condition.5 speed conversion.I am trying to find out what range Tourings like this are going for from a project car to a Concourse quality car.Any help is appreciated.Thanks!

    I am looking for info on putting in shoulder restraint belts in my 69.Is this difficult to do and where might I purchase these items?I have been searching to see if I can find the info myself and to see if lap belt only systems are legal for this year car in California.Any help is appreciated.Thanks!

    Yeah got it tuned and some electrical work done.Put some new door/trunk seals.1400.00? I may have got a deal,but I am not stupid.If you were being cheeky,then yeah I will take 1400.00!

    Wow! Thanks guys.I actually have the trunk seal,just not installed,The previous owner was not the original owner.I am the 3rd.The tale light is in good shape,works and the rest of the car has very little rust.The towers,spare compartment and the gas tank area are all clean.Don't have any idea on the driving lights but they do look to be in good shape..Car has a rebuilt engine 10,000 miles ago and the motor does not blow smoke on accel or decel. Tranny is my next project as it has a slight syncro noise/grind if shifting fast between 1,going into 2nd as is typical of the older gearboxes.I want to stick a 5 spd in it but dont know which way to go for that.It will be a weekend/around towncar for me.I drove it around last night and its freaking awesome.I am in the south/east bay.Fremont area.Anyways if you guys have any more suggestions on the gearbox or anything else,lmk.

    Wanted to post some pics of my 69 02' The car is not perfect but for 1500.00,I wont complain.In the last pic,you may notice the left tail light area is pushed in a little.Can this be fixed without replacing sheetmetal? I am hoping yes.Otherwise the car is pretty solid.Was 1500.00 a good price for the car?I am a noob here.Thanks!
