  8. Agreed they are modest looking for sure...For some they can be the icing on the cake...The things we go through to make a car complete and correct as possible.... I know many have looked for these wheels for years and to find them on a car I could not pass up the opportunity. The car went to a good home and will be driven and enjoyed.
  9. So I got lucky here....A car came for sale in Holland (I am in CA) and in looking at the photos and description it was stated there were original Mahle Turbo wheels (13x6) on the car. The part number was verified to be correct. Had to buy the whole car to get the wheels but thats ok. The wheels have been on the car for many years and am told were purchased from parts department. They are dated in 1976 but thats ok. These will be going on the turbo but still need a set of date correct steelies.
  10. Thank you Steve for your feedback Wheels are the jewelry for sure
  11. Thank you all for your feedback...its a tough one for sure. One would think with the scarcity and issues with the KKK turbos the turbo unit would be worth more since it is such a huge factor in having a correct and complete car. Even some of the other parts like an injection unit, seats, etc.
  12. Hi all, Need an opinion of value please. What would a set of four optional Turbo Mahle 6j (13x6) wheels be worth? Dated 31/32 week of 1974. Thank you for your opinions. I am sure there has been a set that has sold but I am unaware and have no idea. Thank you again, Bryan

  16. Hi, Can someone please confirm if the inner barrels are silver or charcoal. From the NOS wheels that were posted on Ebay the inner barrels are charcoal color. I believe from reading here that based upon when the cars were built and the wheel manufacturers over the years the wheels originally had inner silver barrels. Please confirm, Thank you Bryan

  19. Looking for a 1974 tii water divider? Must be dated 74. My understanding is there are slight differences throughout the years and from tii to standard. Current bmw part number is 11531255158. I am not sure if the part number has changed throughout the years. Thank you Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

  22. Einspritz, I am not looking for the spring rate, trying to determine if my springs are the correct original turbo springs. I want to have the correct srpings with correct markings... I do think one of the colors is white, not gray. Thank you Byron, Thank you... that would be appreciated. Bryan
  23. Hi, I am trying to determine if my springs are original. They have a sticker from WallothNesch and appear too nice for 40 year old springs. Does anyone have pics of original springs and/or know what color paint marking should be present? Current markings are (Front) Green/Blue and (Rear) Green/Grey/Green. Car is a 1975, built late 1974 Thank you
