Regretted anyhting the next morning?
Hahaha, I'm still a kid... about the only thing I regret is only once...

OMG! Car of the show! We should make out!
-
I purchased genuine BMW parts from my local BMW dealer and I had to cut 10cm off mine on the top on the gaskets for my rear pop out windows. Is that what you are refering to?
Once I trimmed them, they fitted fine. I started out trimming about 6cm and them widdled down to just a few millimetres... fit perfectly. Not sure why they came so long?
Happy to help.

Blue sway bars!?! Now I'm gonna have to get them powdercoated black :-(

Someone is getting nasty on my thread again... can you please tidy it up - its over the last two pages I think.
Cheers,
Todd

I have a set for sale, I heard they were quite valuable...

Been slaving away working for the past 12 months... my car is getting very close to being back on the road. Cant wait for a drive!
Better images and more details soon :-)

Looks OK to me. Its a lot harder to get to look right when you have no waistline trims.
Color looks fantastic! Car looks awesome! I bet its a hoot to drive! How far off giving it a drive are you?

Straight out man! Symmetry... that bent stuff is no good for weight distribution! :-P
Looks big, what is that diameter?

Was a bit disappointed the photo wasn't included...
Ah well... such is life.
Now sway bars? Any Victorian want to purchase some IE sway bars to have them shipped here with mine and we'll split freight? The cost of freight is going to kill me otherwise!!!

It was in the Calendar? I never saw it in the end...

How do you change an ignition barrel? I have one good one that I want to swap with my dodgy one so my key works. So how do I do it the easy way?
Cheers,

I have a set of Cibie Oscar's with a drilled front bumper piece and the rare 2002 fog light switch... you'd need to grab a few other things for it as well, but its all in excellent condition.
I have heaps of parts... a 5 speed box with tail shaft, etc.
I'll have a list and prices shortly.

Nice work mate...
Sorry, I've missed this thread for another Aussie! I've barely been around of late... but got the bug again!

the only sticker i couldn't get was the tyre pressure one which has "Australia" printed on it.
Mine didnt have that on it... my plan is to get an Alpina one for E30s with their wheel specifications. With the local law inforcement being heavy handed about rim size, I want to tick all the right boxes in their eyes to cover my ass.

Thanks... all sorted! Some one is sending me a set... very kind!

It always shocks me to see how much of a mess people leave these cars in when they photograph them for ebay or where ever? Whats a bit of elbow grease cost? It could get them a few more $$...

Race cars... thats a whole other kettle of fish... some of those slide injection cars are out of this world. Is it Paul who is doing the historic race car up? How is that going I wonder?

Jeff,
I made an order today... only problem is I wont be going to the show unfortunately (logistically its a nightmare!) and I dont live in the lower 48 (I dont live in the same hemisphere). Any chance you could look after me anyway :-P
Cheers!
