thanks for taking the initiative, Jack.
as much as I enjoy staying in touch with 02ers from all over the country, even the world, it will be great to have a local group for more frequent and spontaneous gatherings.

I prefer one from a recently running car, not on a shelf for years.

I am using a 318/320 fuel pump relay which requires an active ignition pulse to keep pumping

wish I had been there, the start of a magical year

It's always the third week of September, but this year that would conflict with CCA Oktoberfest, so they are still thinking it out

at least, stop by and see the restorations in progress, Mike is the one to speak with, he is a 2002 owner as well.

Tag. You're it.
I can't get folks to come here when it's not blizzard season!
If you set it up, somebody will show up. Probably more people than you might expect.

I figured there'd be a reunion gathering somewhere, anybody heard anything?

I am considering a package deal that includes fenders, I'm in Chi-town, let me know how good it needs to be. dmason2002@hotmaildotcom

I had been using a vacula, then found a motive products bleeder when The WerkShop moved to the new building. I've been using it happily since, and I pinch off the tube with a hemostat to stop flow.

good replacement heads date from 1980 on, rare to find an earlier one on a running car. the 82 and later engines were motronic which didn't use the traditional distributor this car has. After 82 the displacement for US engines was 2.8, 3.3 or 3.5.

and a flat black one southbound, guy with a blonde ponytail driving, waved my mobile tradition 02 hat at him. I was in a rentasentra, not used to beng anonymous on the road!

I was on the fence to fly out , just fell on the NO side. The Werkshop is sending Dons 503 cabrio, just finished and stunning! Say hi to Tom Ditzig from Hilton Head BMW, he likes 02s

I'd get a carbed squarelight if it's the feel and concept of your previous experience you're after, it's the cheapest way in, you can build up or re-evaluate with less downside.
I've had DCOEs, 32/36 and stock injection, they're all good!
