Feeler....1974 2002tii for sale...actually 2 SOLD!

Before any of you get a chance to post the saying, "This post is worthless without pictures", let me just state that both cars are in storage and pics are forthcoming to those truly interested.

I have two tii's that I am considering selling for $4000.

Both need restoration, and are great candidates for such. Neither have dealer installed A/C or factory sunroof. Both are complete with original nose panel. One has the motor still in the car, the other has the motor in pieces.

One is malaga with grey interior and the other is polaris with navy. Both are currently registered non-op in California and I have both titles.

Parting these out is NOT an option!

Minimal rust with most of it being surface rust.

I just don't see me having the time in the near future to restore these fine automobiles, so if someone was in the market to do so now, I would consider selling these. Must take both and I am firm on the price.

RUST BUCKETS

Hey Nads,

You don't want to start this shit.

Just because your pissed off at repo for his replies on your last topic on your car for sale doesn't give you the right to follow his posts and try to do what you think your going to do.

Re-read your post and all the replies folks have tried to tell you from the outside looking in. You may find that you are wrong and most of what the web is telling you is correct.

If you think you will follow the folks that you didn't like their replies and run them down you will get banned quicker than shit I believe.

Like most folks on the web are telling you. Grow up. Own up & move on.

Above all, start being honest with yourself & others.

I don't know Repoman but I see what your trying to do and it is not going to work.

There are well respected people on here and your not one of them. You could be if you change your ways and become part of the community with sincerity towards the 02 fellowship but what your trying to do will not accomplish that.

It will only show the forum what a dirtbag you are and you may even get your ass beat from folks on here from your area.

Just a thought. Think about it.

nerazzurrri, why do you have to be so mean?

I am only selling my two tii's because I want to buy your car.

Afterall, yours is EXACTLY what I am looking for in a 2002:

Perfect paint

Perfect body, except for that small ding in the drivers door (that will buff right out)

Perfect original leather recaro interior, except for the small rip in the driver seat

Rebuilt motor with a documented 20k miles on it

I can't understand why yours hasn't sold as yet. Go figure.

Your car is worth at least $5,000. Are you sure you want to sell it so cheap?

I just hope it is still available after I sell my two rust buckets.....

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
