Anyone have my old cars?

Just wondering if anyone has the BMW's I owned in the 70's. I have a 74 tii now, but back in the day I bought a used 72 2002 Malaga in 1974, and then traded it in for a brand new 76 2002 Polaris. Dumb right? Well back then, newer seemed better. Both cars were bought from Habberstads BMW on Main St. in Northport, NY Unfortunately I never kept the paperwork, so I don't know the VIN #'s. I doubt that Haberstads would have records back that far.

you maybe surprised - that dealer is still in business, and depending on how many times they have moved their records - or possibly NEVER,

you may get some patient person to dig into the old boxes.

You may find a extra copy of the window/marony label with

all the bill of sale/mileage statements neatly stapled together.

I know where I am that we can access those records back to the 1980's

So the 70's ??????

I might just try that. I still have family in Westchester and Long Island. Haberstad moved to a much bigger place on Jericho Trnpk. I guess the 2002 put him on the map too. I believe it became BMW/Nissan, and then the sons split into two seperate dealerships.
