The keys shown work with the coded locks that they

correspond to.

The code is usually stamped on the lock housing. The lock has to be removed from the trunk by removing the lock ring first, then the sleeve

that slips over the assembly.

I would like one as well, but I need to check my cylinder. Would it be possible for you to hold off on sending out any of the originals you have until FAQ'ers have had a reasonable chance to check their numbers (like 24 hours)? That way you could make additional copies of each of the ones that you have that have multiple requests, so that those of us who have not had a chance to check our codes don't lose out because someone is faster to the gun. Thanks.

Ok I'm out, I just pulled the lock from the trunk and no numbers stamped on the cylinder except B112 on the part that seems to close from the key.

Jim,

We can get any SX trunk key cut (new), although it is

not going to cost $5. If enough owners determine

their code and want keys cut, we can then look

at getting them all done at one time. I have already

asked and there is no discount for cutting a quantity of new keys.

There were (2) SX 23 keys, so Mike got one.

If nothing else this will help to educate the various

owners as to what they have or what they need.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks for the follow-up.

I will investigate the B code.

Thanks for your consideration to my request. I have finally pulled my cylinder (it took a little finagling to get that lock ring off), and, alas, it is SX 4. I guess I'm out of luck, and will have to visit a local locksmith to see if they can cut a key with that code.
