front fender well

I am sure this has been addressed but I did do a search first. I have seen the Volvo 240 fender liner fix but without going to that exstreem, is there a product recommended to spray or fill the dirt collector at the bottom of the fender well and behind the front indicator?

good idea... I'd like to know who's done something as far as a mechanical sheild or something too.

I was just about to spray the area up behind the turn indicator with some of Eastwood's Heavy duty anti-rust (a 'waxy', self healing substance I've used with success at the bottom of my doors). I was going to try and thin it per their directions and then put it in a standard spray bottle to get into all the crevasses.
